''Hagit Goldberg is probably the best jazz singer in Israel today…Quickly run to see her. Don't be late, for she might suddenly decide to get up on a plane and go back West, and you'd be sorry for the rest of your life that you have missed this singing energy bomb… When Goldberg in her full splendor, came up on stage, she conquered the audience right away with an enchanting smile, a flirting look, and above all- wonderful singing and an amazing voice. You could have closed your eyes while listening to her, imagining a black big American Diva singing in one of the jazz clubs of New-Orleans back in the fifties. She knows how to play around with her voice in a super-professional way, to bring it up and down, to roll, scream, whisper, cry and shout. The way she presented the songs was simply perfect… Her interaction with the audience was good and she flirted with them during the whole show and made them sympathize with her in each and every moment. By the way, the peak of the night was an amazing Blues (sorry- can't remember its name) where Goldberg had shown vocal-belting abilities that wouldn't have shamed Miss Janis Joplin her herself. Simply excellent. In any case, my heart had been captured by Hagit and her band…''

About the disc ''Musical & Jazz'':

''…The musicality of Hagit Goldberg and her control over her voice, put her on a different scale than any other Israeli jazz singer I have heard… Hagit's voice is simply awesome. The atmosphere she injects into each of the numbers, enters the listener into a new fascinating world. Her ability to control her voice allows her to move between styles in an inspiring way.

''MUSICAL & JAZZ'' reminds us that we have huge jazz talents in our country. Hagit Goldberg and the jazz musicians she had collected don't sound less professional than the top jazz musicians in the world…''
